Pearl Alley Jam is coming back to University Square

Mark your calendars for September 7th and 8th from 12pm-6pm as the Pearl Alley Jam is returning to University Square after its debut last year!  This free community event will take over Pearl Alley from 16th to 15th Avenue with vintage vendors and will host live music performances from local bands located in the University Square Plaza.

Apart from the shopping and tunes, the Pearl Alley Jam will feature a public art exhibit as part of the University District Organization’s ongoing Trash to Treasure initiative.  The Trash to Treasure initiative will highlight four local artists publicly transform dumpsters to colorful and engaging murals live during the event.  After the event, these dumpsters will return to their original locations around the University District, bringing an artful flair back to the surrounding neighborhoods and community.
